was originally formed as Jenkins & Schumann in the spring of 1951.
D. H. (Doc) Jenkins and Max A. Schumann, Jr. continued the partnership until 1962 when Max became the principal engineer and surveyor with the passing of Doc. Schumann Engineering Company was incorporated shortly after.
Our work originally consisted primarily of professional services provided to lawyers, abstractors, insurance companies, contractors, architects and private individuals in municipal work. We now also specialize in providing services to include companies engaged in oil and gas development, pipelines, telecommunications/fiber optic and commercial and residential land development.
We are registered as Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors in both Texas and New Mexico, specializing in civil engineering and surveying. Max Schumann is also a Licensed State Land Surveyor in the State of Texas. From research, data collecting and data processing to drafting and presentation of professional platting, we do it all.
